Capturing the Spirit of the Journey

Journi Coffee came to us looking for a brand identity that would reflect their adventurous spirit. With a focus on sourcing beans from different corners of the world, they needed a visual story that felt explorative, warm and full of character.The brand had to speak to coffee lovers who crave variety, experience and authenticity.

A Brand Mapped with Meaning

We built their visual identity around something timeless and tactile, inspired by the lines of a map. Taking cues from vintage maps and topographic lines, we created a bespoke pattern system that reflected the global path of every bean. This design became the visual anchor across packaging, merchandise, and digital touch points. Creating a brand experience that feels tactile, warm, and full of purpose.

Consistency was key in crafting a brand that could stretch across packaging, merchandise, and every customer touchpoint. We rooted Journi’s identity in the natural elements drawing from the earthy tones of the landscapes where the beans are grown. From deep desert browns and forest greens to ocean blues and cloud greys, each hue was carefully selected to mirror the global journey of the coffee itself. These tones, paired with the custom topographic lines, set the foundation for a cohesive and immersive visual experience.

A brand is only as strong as its execution. That’s why we carried the visual language through to every touchpoint from its digital identity to collateral and customer facing materials. Every detail was considered from the contrast in the line work and the way each element illuminated the brand’s identity.
